Wire Installations
For work on large exposed structures such as rooftops, the ability for the worker to move freely along a planned route saves time and increases safety. Our range of wire-based fall arrest and restraint anchor lines use stainless steel cables attached to structural anchor points, onto which the user connects. The flexibility of wire allows routes to follow corner and curves, and assists in absorbing the energy of a fall. All our systems are compliant to EN362 and are installed by certified engineers.
Overhead
Situatingthe wire system above the user ensures the distance of any fall is minimised, so providing the best levels of safety. It also allows more freedom of movement where the surface being worked on is hazardous or obstructed, such as when accessing machinery, vehicles or working above suspended ceilings. Systems can be fitted above head height for direct connection via lanyards, or with an integral trolley-mounted retractable fall arrest block to allow workers to move safely in all directions.
Roof Mounted
Working on unprotected edges of rooftops or near fragile surfaces, wire systems can provide fall arrest and restraint protection that follows the best access route. Anchors can be fitted to a wide range of building substrates from masonry to profiled sheeting, so that the energy of a fall is directed safely into the structure of the building without damage.
Rail Installations
Horizontal anchor rails have all of the advantages of flexible wire systems but can also be loaded in daily use – for example to provide anchors for rope access technicians. A wide range of systems is available with corners and curves, and anchoring options for most substrates. All our systems are compliant to EN362 / EN795.D and are installed by certified engineers.
