TAG is a licensed training provider for Working Safely training courses. We can train your employees at our centres in Greater Manchester ot London, or alternatively, at a locaiton to suit you.

A significant reason for the creation of OPITO - The Oil & Gas Academy (representing Wind and Hydro energy) was to provide an effective link between the industry and those organisations that can provide the best learning and training across the UK to meet its needs. An important deliverable for the Academy is therefore to work with learning and training providers to develop the world class learning supply needed to support a world class business both in the UK and abroad.

While OPITO does not actually deliver this training, it is responsible for the quality and content, and this is ensured through the approvals process.

The Academy will:

1. Work with providers to support the development of a learning infrastructure that is relevant to the industry
2. Continue to develop standards demanded by industry and then to monitor delivery of training against industry standards to ensure that training of the highest quality is available
3. Make sure that providers have up to date and current information on any changes or additions to industry requirements so that they can tailor their products and services to remain fit for purpose
