The Stick-Run is designed to operate on vertical or horizontal ropes for fall arrest and work positioning. It will only slide freely in the up direction (can be pulled down by hand pressure) but locks securely in the event of a fall. A spring-loaded arm allows increased pressure to be applied to the rope, holding the device in position (for example when work positioning or restraint working).
